This may be the quintisential superman. I believe it is the same one as comes in the vs braniac two pack. No red eyes, no long hair, classic costume and proportion. Im going to go ahead and say it, this is the quintisential superman. There, I said it!

bought this for my 4 year old son...it is clearly made to sit on a shelf and not to be played with. One arm broke off while removing the toy from the package and the other within the first hour he played with it. Great toy, but very very very poorly made. Not durable at all!

It's great that they reissued some of the original hard to find DC Universe Classic figures including this Superman. These figures can range from $12 USD all the way to $400+ USD. They get pretty expensive! Some are very rare! They are collectibles, but you can play with them and you don't have to be as gentle as with most collectibles. This is a great series, and with the re-issue of DC's 70th Anniversary, you get a limited edition metal pin with a picture on it (the kind you attach to clothing). Great find and great buy!

My son was so excited to get this Chritsmas morning. It is small enough for a three year old to easily carry it around. Without all the bells and whistles of some toys he has been able to use his imagination to have many great adventures.
