Not sure why Green Lantern needs a jet... Apr 06, 2010
By Thomas Edwards
"@MrWorkrate"
I mean, the guy can fly. The ring is his power. But let's face it - vehicles are cool, especially green see-thru ones that shoot missiles. If you're comic-geek enough that it's going to bother you, let Batman or Robin fly the thing and say that GL created it with his ring.
That aside, the ship is well made, as are most of the Imaginext line. Only potential issue is the top hatch which opens for the pilot to be inserted - joint holding it on is snap-on and I could see it being broken. I would have put the durability lower, but it's only for the hatch, and in the few months we've had it ours hasn't broken yet, and with three boys under 6, if we haven't broken it it's apparently pretty sturdy.
Ship comes with three missiles, all of which can be stored on the ship (which is nice, since missiles are easy to lose). Missile shoots pretty strongly (I'd say a good 6 feet) and while not sharp, still comes to a point enough that you don't want to get hit in the face with it.
Smallest part is the figure itself - missiles are longer, and ship is all one piece (except for the hatch, which ideally stays on).
Trigger under the ship spins two parts inside the ship - I guess they're supposed to be engines - which makes no actual noise (except a small grind). No sound effects or lights.
Overall, a fun addition to the Imaginext Batman (er... DC Super Friends) line, and gives your kid another hero to go with the 9 Batmen of varying colors he/she already has.

mom of 3 kids Mar 03, 2010
By mom of 3 If your child loves batman he will like this the missels shoot far and the plane is green and clear so the child can see threw it. You must sit green lantern in the plane a certain way or the door will not shut can be a little hard for the little ones.

Great Addition Apr 12, 2010

"Cannon Beach Girl"
This is great for the DC Super Friends line, which seems to be a Batman line for the time being. Hopefully Fisher Price will add on more characters soon. Maybe Hawkgirl or Wonder Woman? But its fine if there are only guys in this line, my little girl can play with them just as much as my son. The toy itself is great however you may need to help your little one get Green Lantern into the jet. Its very durable which is all ways nice when you have very active kids. My son loves the shooting missiles. I am thinking of getting the Robing version too because this little jet is so good!

"Prairie Cajun Regenerated!"
When Christmas morning finally arrived I, er, wait, my son ripped open his gifts. One of those gifts was the Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends Green Lantern Jet. The jet features three firing missiles that can be stored under the wings of the jet (one under each wing and one ready to fire), rolling gears triggered by kids, an opening cockpit, and a Green Lantern figure.
The jet is a perfect addition to any Imaginext playset, and it has already been on countless adventures with Green Lantern, Batman, Robin, and all of the other Super Friends. In fact, a few villains have managed to stow away on it as well!
The missiles fire a decent distance, but without so much pressure that they will injure a child, pet, or furniture.
The Green Lantern figure looks really cool, all the way down to his ring!
As with all of the Imaginext toys, the Green Lantern Jet triggers a child's imagination, giving them just the right amount of inspiration to create vivid worlds and scenarios in their heads.
Fisher-Price has a winner with the Green Lantern Jet. It's fun for me, er, my son to play with and features one of his favorite DC comics characters.
Recommended.
