Great Toy Jun 08, 2010
By Mommy23 My son LOVES these blocks. He started with his first set when he was 3 1/2. He got this set for his 4th birthday. He builds all kinds of stuff. So far daddy has to help him build the actual bat cave. He does take the blocks and build his bat cave like structures. I love how he can play with what he builds because the blocks stay together so well. Its a great toy educationally too. It builds fine motor skills and encourages lots of imagination and free play. I would highly recommend these for any child that enjoys building. My two older girls (6 and 9 years old) like to play with these as well.

Awesome Bat Castle Oct 19, 2010

We got this for our son's 6th birthday. He loved it and his friend said he wanted it for christmas. The pieces are easier to put together and the instructions are also easier to follow than legos. Our son loves changing the castle around and making it look different. We highly recommend this!

Best for 4 year old hands. Sep 29, 2010
By gijimenez5 Gave this to my four year old as a birthday present. He loves it, easy for him to put together and when he plays with it, it does not break apart like traditional legos. Parts still get lost like with anything you build. Again Amazon shipped right away and had the best price. I love AMAZON!!!

mediocre Nov 02, 2010
By KEaken I ordered this for my 4 yr old son since he is a Batman fanatic. We already have a couple sets of Trios at home and we like them a lot but I wish that the Batman Batcave set came w/ better directions. The box claims to make 3 different buildings but only gives directions for one and shows a small picture for the other two. That is my only complaint.

Trio Batcave is Great Nov 19, 2010
By Mayflower Girl
"amazon-junkie since 1996"
We already have the Imaginext Batout, but love the Trio Batcave nonetheless. The great thing about this is that it's pretty easy for my 7-year old (and my 5 year old with a little help) to follow the directions and put it together. The pictures are very clear, and easy for little ones to figure out. I did have to help connect some of the more fragile pieces near the top--but I think part of that was this was the first time those connections were being made. The real fun is seeing the variations that the kids come up with on their own. They always are combining various pieces from other Trio sets to make different inventions... like joining the Joker Bot with the Penguins shooting Umbrella-thing.
You even get to build the Batmobile--which is a lot of fun.
We've bought Legos as well, but Trio are IMHO far superior due to their easier directions, larger size, and fewer pieces. It's just too easy to lose small Lego pieces.
I hope that they'll come up with Trio Batgirl soon--so that my daughter can play along with her brothers. (She's loves Batgirl!)
