I received a set of these COG tags for Christmas last year and I love them. They look great, they are nice and heavy and even wearing them constantly hasn't made them fade or chip.

So I bought these cog tags not expecting much more than a cheap rip off of the ones from the Gears of War game. I was quite mistaken. These tags are made of an extremly durable metal and definately have the weight to prove it. As a side note- the chain on which the cogs are strung is very long and the cogs hang down around the solar plexus area. If you want something that to just wear around as a necklace, this probably isnt the right choice, but if you want some badass tags, then these are great.

These are heavy duty and a great piece for wearing or decor.
PROS
- Very heavy duty COG tags.
- Heavy Duty Chain
- Great for Decor
- Great for Wearing
CONS
- The COGS cannot be removed from teh chain without breaking the ring holding them or the chain.
I was hoping to put them on a shorter chain, but am not disappointed at all!

Join the Coalition of Ordered Governments, show off your prowess in extermination of filthy grubs! This is the perfect necklace for any fan of the Gears of War-series, I wear it wherever I go. If people haven't played the games they'll wonder what's hanging around your neck, and there's a way to bring them into the world of Gears. The only downside is that it hangs a little low, but adjusting it or replacing the chain shouldn't be too much of a problem. They also clank together whenever you take a step, but that's a minor price to pay if you're a soldier in the cause for Sera! These are sturdy, legible and heavy, the perfect accessory for any Gearhead.

When I saw these, I was really excited to get them. I love Gears, so seeing something so paramount to the series that seemed authentic was great. The cog tags themselves are very durable, and hang down to right in the middle of my chest. The weight's really nice, and I love the clinking sound they make as I walk.
The only flaw isn't even in the cog tags themselves, but more the chain that comes with them. It hasn't given me any problems yet, but the way it feels makes it seem very delicate, so it's probably recommended that it's handled with care.
Overall, I'd say these are perfect. If there's anyone trying to decide if buying these are a good decision, definitely go for it.
