| | Description | A Diamond Select Release! Emil Blonsky became the hideous creature known as Abomination when his attempt to become the next Incredible Hulk went horribly wrong. Forced to remain in his grotesque form, Abomination is at times even more powerful than the Hulk - though getting angry has no effect. This unstoppable Marvel Select Abomination stands over nine inches tall and features multiple points of articulation. Product Update: Due to the weight of the Marvel Select: Abomination figure, the heat seals are insufficient to hold the blister to the cardboard backing. To remedy this, plastic twist-ties are employed that secure the figure directly to the backing. As a result, the package of the Marvel Select: Abomination figure has ties that come through the back of the package. The stand has also been changed to a small rocky base holding a background card. | |

Awesome action figure! Nov 21, 2010
By reivajtux I knew the figure was big, but once I got it in my hands... wow is HUGE! (bad for hulk lol) is also heavy and full of details.
The figure is well articulated, and the price is terrific!, and the plastic material looks highly durable. I really recomend this figure.
The base is really simple, it's not highly detailed as the box says... but I don't buy the figures because of their base.

~ $20 well spent! Nov 06, 2010

"A Happy Customer"
I've got several of the newer Marvel Select figures now and I've gotta say that Abomination is still reigning as the champ. Well crafted out of dense, heavy plastic and he even manages to out-hulk The Hulk. Big, burly and beautifully sculpted, absolutely thrilled and I can't imagine anyone else who takes the plunge will end up disappointed.
Highest recommendation!

A Rare Find: Value Meets Quality Aug 10, 2010
By John D. Knox Of the recent Marvel Select figures, this and the Thing are the most value per ounce of plastic in terms of detail and overall quality. While some figures are slightly better crafted, they are what I consider over-expensive. The rest of the recent crop are below par, IMHO.
"Abomination" is a HEAVY piece, well-crafted and with less facial exaggeration than usual, so it actually manages to look sinister on its own merits rather than because it's scowling like a rampage killer on a spree...
Definitely one of the better purchases I've made this year in the action figure department.

Detailed figure Feb 25, 2011
By Mr. Rarez28 Best abomination figure out there. Probably the best marvel select figure as well. Huge figure. Highly detailed matches perfect against the hulk. Recommend getting. Won't be disappointed.
Well one gripe. This is another figure claiming a highly detailed base and shows a pic with one. Instead when you buy it you get a cheap little background display. Which is ridiculous cause the figure is so massive. It just doesn't work
Figure is still to awesome to pass up

Cooler than the Hulk! Feb 18, 2011
By L. Geda Bought the Abomination and various other Marvel Select characters for my son for Christmas, and this one is definitely the best of the bunch. Great detail, super articulation throughout his body including the ability to grasp objects with his hands. Also have the massive Hulk character and the two of them make for great adversaries both for a 5 year old as a toy and on the shelf as a collectible. I would highly recommend this figure as either a toy or especially as a collectible.
