the halo Reach Elites are vary cool these ones come with some good detail unlike lets say the KAT figure and the helmets come off the only problem with mine is the green ones helmet is a little loose but never falls of when upside down still their vary cool

these are sweet! they are big and heavy, be careful taking them out of the package. the weapons bend a good deal so they were easy to get out. they are hard to stand up and look good at the same time, but you really don't need to put them as a pose because they're that cool by themselves. don't be fooled looking at the package when buying, the second backpack is behind the picture of the two close to the bottom on the cardboard, yeah I thought they only had one lol.
I chose the fun aspect because they're fun to look at I guess, I don't really take them and hang them from the ceiling lol educational value because with McFarlane figures if you can pose them or stand them up you can do the same with any action figure out there. durability wise I'd say 3 stars because they're sorta limited on what you can bend and such but that makes it a little easier. obviously it gets 5 stars overall because they're freaking awesome:D
good detail, a little easier to work with than the spartan loadouts I reviewed the other day. there aren't 500 joints per figure per limb. the joints are: wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, stomach, legs, knees and ankles. so there's an encyclopedia for those:)
fine paint jobs, I mean you can tell they were painted but they're good enough to get. Highly recommend to eitehr display or collect (display in package). I would've kept them packaged but I wanted some cool figures to display and I've only seen two of these packs in stores so far and it was messed up a little bit.
anyways, I'd buy these dudes again if I hadn't already lol I hope you enjoy them because they are well worth the money.

I bought these two characters for my grandson, who was extremely delighted with the size and detail of the Elite Rangers. Of course, I couldn't see the educational value...just the fun of the new, durable toys.

I bought these figurines for my best friends 10 year old twins. They have a new fascination with Halo. Knowing how they love collecting figurines in the past from all of their favorite movies and such, I knew that they would love these. and they do!
