First attach one end of the dual-fly cords to any pronged or attachable point using the mini lasso. Next pull the dual-fly cords away from each other ? the simple action allows the Mark II and VI to look like they?re really flying! short and sweet, this toy is poorly designed and doesn't stay together. the mask portion doesn't stay on the floor because the plastic planks don't properly lock together. the hall of armor falls apart if you breathe on it wrong. the computer monitors don't stay flush on the base because of poor design. avoid.

We prefer Lego blocks but they don't make any Iron Man items and my son really wanted the new Iron Man with the triangle on it. The pieces connected just fine for us, but honestly the main reason for buying this set was because of the new Iron Man figure. I don't think Mega Bloks makes any individual sets with the new Iron Man (they make plenty of the old Iron Man with the circle). The carrying case is very cute, it would have been cool if all of the different armors were in the set instead of just pictures. My son had fun building this too but the strings are annoying to take apart. It is overpriced though, Mega Bloks should have sold the figures separately - the NEW figures from the second movie!!! - otherwise I would have not bought this.

I have never purchased Mega Bloks OR Legos before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was frustrated that it broke apart way too easily after assembling it. If you barely bump the 'hall of armor' the whole thing would knock over. Same with a few other pieces. I was kind of disappointed, and would have been more so if I paid full price!

My son received this playset for Christmas. He is a huge Lego fan and loves Ironman. This set was a total waste of time. As stated by a previous reviewer, the pieces do not go together easily - and when they do, they simply break apart if anyone even touches them. After spending 3 hours with him putting together the set (which is poorly designed - the long runs of pieces are made up of many small pieces, so they tend to fall apart easily), he played with it for 3 minutes before things started coming apart (and he doesn't play rough at all). When we tried putting parts back together, other things would simply snap off. Some of the Lego sets he had from Christmas day are still together and he has spent literally hours playing with them. I am glad this was a gift, as I will never purchase Megablocks. Legos might cost a little more - but you get what you pay for. Even my 15 year old, who also has grown up with Legos, who tried to help walked off in frustration after about 10 minutes of trying to help, complaining that these "cheap plastic pieces wont even stay together".
I would look elsewhere for a good "put together" toy - and start by NOT looking at Megablocks.

This was fun to put together with my son. It took us about an hour to put it together. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I did not find the pull toy part very effective. Also, the mask that you put on the front of the hall was too heavy for the way it is set up to attach so you were not able to move the toy once it was set up (unfortunately we did it on our dinner table). I would treat this like it was a puzzle that you put together, take apart, and then put together again some time. The packaging does not provide appropriate storage after dismantling so have a ziploc bag handy.
