Cool MGS action figure (although not made in Japan as stated) Jul 27, 2011

These are nice collectible MGS action figures worthy of owning for fun. Product description claims they are made in Japan but instead are clearly 'Made In China', as the wording states. Can make a difference to some as MIJ can imply higher quality (as I would typically agree). However, without having a MIJ version to compare, these Chinese-made still appear quite nice. (Some vendors sell the MIJ version, but usually at a much higher price and stated as such)

When i bought this figure i was very concern for the bad review that has. But when i receive the package it was a great surprise; the action figure was in perfect condition, all the product is complete and is very well made.
I highly recommend this product. For any Metal Gear fan is a MUST HAVE!,

 Factory flaw--be warned Mar 01, 2011

I ordered this figure just to discover it has TWO RIGHT FEET. It doesn't diminish the figures capability of standing--just makes it more difficult for certain poses. I went to a local comic store and looked at the two they had on their shelves, and sure enough, they too also had a sculpted right foot where the left foot should be. This appears to be a factory defect and, for the price of this figure, It would be nice to see Square Enix correct it!
I attempted to contact them and it's been over 72 hours and i have yet to hear from their customer support.
Great figure, but be warned that I have now seen three of them with this flaw.

I really like this action figure, it is highly movable and detailed and unlike previous figures this one actually resembles Big Boss a lot!
I know it's hard to make figures faces but I think they did an excellent work with this one

This figure is absolutely worth its cost, I got it for 30 because I wanted an all-around toy for posing, one that was used so I wouldnt feel bad for getting it out of the box, and man this is so cool and worth it, the posability and even the joints are solid, I dont feel bad for getting it out everyday and playing around like a kid with it, its so awesome cause as we all know, Big Boss was the best Snake out of all of them. Solid is a close second.
Also, this line is slightly larger then they're other videogame series lines, like the street fighter, final fantasy, deus ex, and batman arkham city figures are just slightly like half an inch smaller, and its reflected in the head size. they're proportianately smaller, which is another reason why I love the Metal Gear line so much more, they're just shy of old school G.I. Joe size. but with better faces and detail and posability.
Very glad to see action figures grow to this level of sophistication, a grown man needs grown action figures! And the Hasbro/Mattel stuff doesn't cut it anymore! More figures need this detail and smart design, even the crotch area, which isn't meant to sound crude, but is made of a soft rubber case on a T socket that attached to 2 pegs that go on into the thich seamlessly which allows for rotation in 360 degrees around the thigh but also all range of motion. the torso is on a swivel too and the neck and head are 2 seperate pieces, though there's not alot of range for looking up or down with the head.
such an awesome figure. all I can say.
