I bought this figure for my birthday and this is one of the best action figure to have in anyone's collection, especially if anyone who is a fan of metal gear solid games. The figure is very well detailed and really got alot articulation for great poses.

Any metal gear fan should have this rep of Big Boss, Stand about 7 in, comes with the MK22 and the M19, you can swap the supressor to ethier gun. He also has a side pouch to hold one of the other guns, you can swap the trigger fingers for fists, and he is super durable and poseable.

Excellent detail and attention to easily one of the best games ever designed and written. The articulation is great and easily poses on any shelf. This is a must have for any fan of the series. If you enjoy Snake, you might also want to investigate the Dante and Nero figures of the same height and detail from Devil May Cry. (As far as I can remember, it should be the same manufacturer. I may be wrong, but I believe it is Play Arts Kai.)

Great figure, great details. Lots of fun and my boyfriend loves it!.. It didn't quite work as a juicer though. LOL

I just got this figure and I've got to say I'm very happy with the purchase. I've already got a small collection of figures from the Play Arts line and this has got to be one of my favorites. Like most of the Play Arts figures, the posing ability is amazing and joints are very nicely masked in the details. While there is no base included, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Snake stands on his own effortlessly and isn't in any danger of toppling over.
As far as the detail goes, this one certainly shines. In fact, it's probably more detailed than Snake's own game model. The sculpting and paint details are top-notch. Out of all the Play Arts figures I've got, It's got to be one of the most durable too.
While I could talk about the positives all day, it wasn't without it's issues. I had very similar problems to those of reviewer Katie. When I first removed him from the box, I noticed the belt on his waist was too high up due to the upper edge of the soft pelvis section overlapping it. I managed to tuck it back underneath and move the belt down but it took a little fiddling to fix. Also the strap from his holster that is supposed to loop over his belt was untucked. Can't really get it all the way back in, either. It's not a noticeable problem but it can be cut off without any sort of loss if it's bothersome. It's also worth noting that the emblem on the right shoulder of my figure has a bit of a scuff.
Overall, I would've given this five stars but a little bit of careless assembly in the factory can spoil the fun. It doesn't sound like this happens to everyone, but be aware that you might get one like this.
