5Boba Fett  Aug 28, 2010 By Shademan12 "GWF"
Boba Fett. The greatest bounty hunter in the Star Wars galaxy. Over the years, he has gotten many different forms of him in action figure form starting with the classic and much desired 5-points of articulation Kenner Boba Fett. Now there is a newer Fett available and this latest reincarnation of the Journeyman Protector turned Bounty Hunter turned Mandalore.

Packaging: Wonderful package. You get a clear view of Boba Fett and his accessories. On the card is a wonderfully CGI-isk image of Boba Fett from what seems to be his Cloud City scene. On the back there are a couple of flaws. The figure pictured on the back is not the figure in the packaging, but the figure from Pit of Carkoon... Also his species is "cloned human" instead of human. And his bio has some nonsense about being a clone of Jango Fett... Basically some nonsense from Ep. II that completely ruined the wonderful story Boba Fett had in the 90s.

Figure: The figure is great. There are about 16 points of articulation on the figure. His head is on a ball joint. His shoulders are ball and hinge joints. His elbows can rotate and are ball joints. His forearms also rotate. His waist rotates and his hips can move forward and back. His knees are just like the elbows and his ankles are just as articulate. In other words; he is as articulate as an average human in most respects. However, there is one slight problem: there is a "fuel line" running from his right gauntlet to his shoulder. This will constrict movement. One thing I am super glad about is that his helmet is not removeable! Unlike Jango Fett and the clones and even some of the stormtroopers (wth?) there is no Temura Clone head. This figure really brings back the mysteriousness and coolness of Fett before AotC ruined his back story.

Accessories: Fett comes with his specialized sawed-off rifle (a carbine with a ginormous stock). The gun is one piece and one color; black. there is a shoulder strap, but since it is plastic, you can't really put it on his shoulder. The gun is easily held in his right hand and, after some work, can fit in his left.

He also comes with his jetpack. like other's have stated, the Jetpack doesn't stay on too well. But it is fine. If you want it in permanently, glue it on. But it isnt necessary, it stays in well enough for poses and play. And If it falls off, just put it back in.

Unfortunately, the coin he comes with has nothing to do with Fett or his Mandalorian skull. instead it is a movie coin with Skywalker and vader... Nothing cool.

Now another complaint is the cape he has: It doesn't stick straight up! It is nice and low but is thick enough that it wont get any unnecessary folds. It has three holes and one can go over the nozzle on the jetpack to keep it down if you feel it is too free.

This is a great figure and I highly recommend it to any Star Wars fan. Easily the best figure since Kenner's first fig. I took one star away from education because the info on the back is based on post-AotC s***.

5Great ROTJ rendering of Fett  Dec 07, 2010 By BL
You will be happy with this figure, which represents the red-gauntlet ROTJ version of Boba Fett. It's detailed and has good articulation. Ignore the "Jango" & prequel garbage on the back of the card. :(

5Best 3 3/4 inch Boba Fett EVER!!!  Feb 05, 2012 By Dakota T. Jones "ZaPsamurai"
The 30th anniversary collection produces some of the best looking figures I have seen so I ordered this guy with very high hopes. However I had no idea how absolutely phenomenal this figure truly was outside of the plastic prison in which he was incapsulated. This figure is spot on to the films and a great collection piece and also a great gift for a child as well!!

Packaging: The overall presentation of this figure is beautiful for anyone who wishes to keep this figure carded. It has a lovely still image of Boba Fett in the background and the collector's coin is fabulously sealed off to the side of the figure. The back of the card displays another still image of Boba Fett as well as a short description of him. At the bottom it displays more figures from the 30th anniversary collection.

Boba Fett: From the top of his helmet, to the bottom of his boots, this is THE Boba Fett to own. The helmet is very well sculpted with a moveable range finder as well. His Mandalorian armor is very well worn and torn throughout the figure with miscellanious scatches and dents all over the armor. His left arm has a fantasticly applied Mandalorian skull logo on the shoulder and his left gauntlet has a rocket moulded into place. His right arm has two wookie braids hanging off the shoulder. His belt is well sculpted with some miscellanious pouches on either side which are moulded into place. Even Boba Fett's boots are highly detailed. His cape is made of a nice, durable, soft goods material that hangs to about the back of his knees. The jetpack is the best looking jetpack I have ever seen on a Boba Fett figure.

Final Thoughts: The only complaint I have about this figure is that his jetpack does not like to stay on his back too well which super glue is an obvious answer to that problem. For a more in depth look at this figure outside of the packaging, chek out my Youtube channel, LordDestreus, other than that I hope this review has helped some people. Until next time, may the Force be with you!!

5Great detail  Nov 18, 2010 By Enjolras
This is probably the best ROTJ Boba Fett out there. The colors on this guy are really vibrant. He's got many points of articulation and his jetpack looks just like in the movie. He's a bit fragile, with that jetback sometimes becoming loose, but if you just want to pose him he should be just fine. Highly recommended for collectors.
