Slave I Is a Cool Toy Oct 10, 2010
By gregus khan My sons have had this toy for about a month and they are still playing with it. It's held up pretty well too for being used as much as it has. It's been one their favorite toys.
Durability - So far no breaks. I'm a little worried about cockpit window but its holding up OK. Playability - Lots of places to put action figures. This is what I think makes the toy fun. Plus it just looks cool. Frustration factors - The wings detach and it can be a difficult for my son 7 yr old son to back the right way. The toy comes with a number of missiles and two bombs. They tend to get lost quickly. My younger 3 yr old like play with it too but it is a little too big and heavy for him to lift easily.
It also comes with a Mace Windu Star Fighter and several action figures. The star fighter is the same as the ones ones you can buy individually. Which are good quality. It just has a different paint scheme. My son already had several of the figures however which was no problem since they were replacements for the "battle damaged" ones. The Boba Fett child figure is a difficult figure to find individually.
I wish Hasbro had packaged not included the starfighter or as many action figure to lower the price. That's the only real negative around the package.
When I gave it to my sons it was definately got a big WOW!.
Great Toy Jan 25, 2012
By Funkaholic The following review was written by my 8-year-old son:
I got this toy when I turned 7, so I've been playing with it for over a year now. It's a good toy overall. The main concerns are that the cockpit is a little weak (but it still holds up) and also the cargo bay flap is weak and doesn't stay closed well. Other than that, it's a great toy and it looks just like the real thing and also it can fit 3-5 people in its cockpit and also the passenger bay is big enough to fit like 10 passengers. I use the ship to recreate some battle scenes and I have a good amount of fun with it. I've played with it a lot!
Cool, But A Little Too Basic Jul 06, 2011 This is VERY cool. But I thought they could have a little more to the Slave 1. It was a little too plain. A cockpit, body and detention cell. It's like those old AT-AT's. Too plain. BUT, they came out with a newer and better one. Lights, compartments, and sounds. They could have added some of that to this. But oh well. Still an AWESOME toy.

Big Hit with my son! Dec 15, 2010
By Debbie Garcia My 7 year old really enjoys this gift. He's had if for a few weeks now and still has a hard time putting it down when playtime is over.
We actually split it up into two main gifts and some action figures. This way he had more packages to open for the price, since it is rather steep for a kids gift. We definitely got the reacion we love to see from him on opening the various parts of this gift, and he didn't get frustrated getting through the packaging since we had already dealt with it when we split it up.
