The Ultimate Bounty Hunter Aug 30, 2010

As much as I enjoyed the initial Star Wars Collector Series 12" Boba Fett Figure, I was thrilled to see Kenner revisit the enigmatic bounty hunter with a new 12" scale offering that succeeded where the first one failed.
Pros - The main attraction, at least for me, was the larger helmet. The first version looked like a shrunken head Boba Fett, but this one looks like a human head could actually fit in there! I also liked the more detailed costume and the fact that the rocket in his backpack actually fires. It's also supposed to be a talking figure, but I couldn't get mine to work. I assume the battery was dead, but it didn't seem worth the effort to find out. I bought this as a display figure, and I'm pretty sure I'll survive without hearing it tell me to put Captain Solo in the cargo hold.
Cons - No complaints. This is just a cool figure all around.
Along with the 1:6 Scale Star Wars Electronic Talking Darth Vader Anakin Skywalker Action Figure (1998 Kenner), this Boba Fett is one of the absolute best figures in Kenner's `90s era 12" Star Wars series, and short of the high-end Star Wars Deluxe 12 Inch Medicom Boba Fett is the best Boba Fett figure you're likely to find.
