| | Description | Broken by a nightmare eternity of torture at the hands of Straxus, NEMESIS PRIME does not remember what he was before he was this. He is the culmination of a grand plan never realized by Straxus before his destruction; a lowly warrior reconstructed to be the very image of OPTIMUS PRIME. Imprinted with memory engrams and combat algorithms recovered from hundreds of sources, he possesses much of the knowledge of the AUTOBOT leader, but without any framework by which to organize it. Despite his incredible power, he is deeply unstable, a threat to DECEPTICON and AUTOBOT alike. He cowers in the shadows of CYBERTRON, living only to stalk and destroy his fellow TRANSFORMERS.
Prepare to roll out and do battle as you take on the enemy in mighty robot mode or tractor trailer vehicle mode. Pose the detailed robot figure with his stellar converter cannon and futuristic disruptor cannon. A few twists here and a couple of turns there and he's ready to roll in tractor trailer vehicle mode. The weapons in robot mode become the truck's smokestack and wind vane! Black-and-silver colored deco makes him a bold addition to your collection. | |

Nemesis Prime Feb 02, 2009
By Robert J. Allen i Recently Brought SDCC08 Nemesis Prime From Ebay for a good deal and i was impressed the only thing i disliked was that his windows wasn't red and the dark teal blue is not a good look for a nemesis prime it should have been black he easy to transform both way the problem that this and the ultra magnus of this mold sometimes its hard to get his doors to stay connected during truck mode to any die hard fan of this mold get the Shadow Commander trailer set for nemesis prime or if u like ultra magnus better look for the rare city commander trailer set. overall i was very pleased this nemesis look like Nova Prime which Nemesis Used to be before he lost his memory and become nemesis prime.
one of the coolest transformers figures Aug 09, 2011
By Kent Marshall I always loved the concept of the Dark Optimus Prime. Nemesis is easily the coolest, sleekest most bad ass toy yet. I love his paint scheme and I really dig the concept behind him! Long live Scourge! Or Nemesis...however you want to treat him!
I see a red Prime and I want to paint it black... May 22, 2010
By Ray T. Superman has Bizzaro. Darkwing Duck has Negaduck. Mr. Spock has that evil Spock with the funky 'stache. And now Optimus has Nemesis Prime. Taken from one of the best recent Prime molds, Nemesis Prime is a nasty scary wicked cool figure ready to strike terror in the processing modems of Autobots everywhere. There have been several toys named Nemisis Prime in recent years (Not to be confused with black painted varients) but this is my favorite by far. Bigger and more menacing than the original Armada version, yet more subdued and realistic than the overpriced Big Convoy Target Exclusive one. Bring one home today, but beware. For once you start downn the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny...

The classics prime mold is without a doubt one of the best molds of this character. With a simple transformation and a nice set of accesories this is a must own. His weapons attach to his vehicle mode in a way that make them hardly distinguishable as weapons. The colors are what really make this bot though. The dark teal and grey really give him that "Bad guy" look. With Fansproject's Shadow Commander armor/trailer set available it makes this figure a must have for serious collectors. Just wish a takara version would have been made as well witht he chrome highlights like Classics Optimus prime...

Same mold, same mold Oct 13, 2008
By Paul Adriano For anyone who missed out on the Classics Optimus Prime or Ultra Magnus, this is the exact same toy with a different color scheme. Mold is exactly the same as Classics Optimus Prime but more reasonably priced (as of 2008). My biggest gripe with this figure is that Hasbro decided to give it blue windows instead of the appropriate crimson. His light piping is also blue but his eyes are painted red. This defeats the purpose of light piping and cements more in my mind that Hasbro should've just used a crimson plastic for the transluscent parts. Otherwise this is a great figure, especially for collectors who missed out on the original Classics Optimus Prime release.
